The wrist strap is well made and looks like it should hold up under heavy use. The price is excellent.
After struggling with getting the wrist strap attached (no instructions with the product) I found it comfortable and easy to use. It takes some time to get use to not having your right hand free but after a full day of shooting with my 7D and 70-200/2.8 IS it was working well. Load your pockets accordingly. I like it and will continue to use it.
A minor problem did appear while trying to change the battery on my camera. It seems the included base plate the wrist strap attaches to extends over the edge of the battery door on my Canon 7D. No problem, the base plate appears to be reversible allowing it to give plenty of room for the battery compartment door and it is, except that with the plate reversed the strap is too short for my hands. Fortunately the base plate is easy to loosen and turn to allow access to the battery. And given the battery life of 800+ images changing the battery is not a frequent occurrence.
I like the strap and will continue to use it. Getting the neck strap off my neck is worth a bit of hassle with battery doors and the price can't be beat.
