This lens hood is a great value, and I'd highly recommend it. For $12.95, you could buy 4 of them for the price of the official Canon hood! The hood is well built, and it feels similar in quality to my official Canon ET-73 hood. This hood lacks the felt lining on the interior that the official Canon hoods have, but I haven't ever seen evidence to support the claim that the felt actually makes a difference in real-life use. For a simple piece of plastic like a lens hood, it's silly to waste much money. Get this hood, and you won't regret it.
